Funeral services for Ambrosio Porras Luevano, 81, of Lovington will be held on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at 10:00 am at St. Thomas Catholic Church with father Samuel Ameh officiating. Burial will follow at Lovington Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Kirby-Ratliff Funeral Home. Ambrosio was born on October 27, 1942 in Artesia, New Mexico to Elisio Aguilar Luevano and Frances (Porras) Luevano and passed away on November 14, 2023 in Lubbock, Texas. Ambrosio married Gloria Hernandez on January 28, 1968 in Carlsbad, New Mexico they shared 55 wonderful years. He liked going fishing, hunting and traveling. Ambrosio loved being outside working in his garden. He enjoyed spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Elisio and Frances Luevano.

He is survived by his wife Gloria Luevano; two sons: Larry Hernandez and Christopher Luevano; one daughter: Tracy Luevano; two grandchildren: Nathan Luevano, and Christina Luevano.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 from 11:00 am until after Rosary. Rosary will be held at 6:00 pm at Kirby-Ratliff Funeral Home Chapel.
