Memorial graveside services for Thomas Henry Griffin, 91, of Lovington will be held on Friday, December 15, 2023 at 1:00 pm. He will be reunited with his wife Wanda Maxine Griffin who passed away on August 23, 2002 and they will be buried together at Resthaven cemetery with Caden Jameson officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Kirby-Ratliff Funeral Home. Thomas was born on June 20, 1932 to Henry Calvin and Pearl Almeda (Brady) Griffin and passed away on December 4, 2023. Thomas was a Corporal in the US Army during the Korean War stationed in Okinawa, Japan and Korea. He was a hard worker. Thomas liked gardening and taking care of his yard. He enjoyed playing with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents: Henry and Pearl Griffin; his two wives: Wanda Maxine Griffin of 52 years and Velma Ballard Griffin of 10 years; one brother: Marshall Griffin and one sister: Verda Faye Stiles. He is survived by one son: Curtis Griffin and wife Felicia; two daughters: Joyce and husband Philip Jenkins, and Connie Cochran; two brothers: Vernon Griffin and Robert Griffin; one sister: Vestal Lair, seven grandchildren and four great- grandchildren.
