William Thomas Lee Obituary
William "Bill" Thomas Lee, 91, of Lovington passed away on January 16, 2024. Bill was born on April 6, 1932 in Tatum, Texas to David Benjamin and Dallas (Martin) Lee. He married JoAnn Calhoun on March 9, 1957 in Lovington, New Mexico. Bill worked in the Oil Field all his life as a Driller and Tool Pusher. He enjoyed watching tv especially listening to gospel music by the Gaither's. Bill fought cancer for 14 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents: David Benjamin and Dallas Lee; and two brothers: David Lee and Gordan Lee.
He is survived by his wife: Joann Lee of 66 years; one son: William Lee Jr of Houston, Texas.; two daughters: Carrie White of Lovington, New Mexico and Judy and husband Walter Staiger of East Schodack, New York; two sisters: Frances Price and Josie Rankin; seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
