Funeral services for Henry Quiroz Gutierrez, 82, of Lovington, New Mexico will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Cowboy Junction Church with Pastor Ty Bean and Albert Munoz officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Cemetery. Henry was born on July 23, 1941 in Carlsbad, New Mexico and passed away on March 3, 2024. Henry was an amazing man of God, who served the Lord through his compassion for others and his willingness to help anyone who needed it. He was a faithful, loving husband, father, grandfather, and overall family man. When people speak of Henry the describe him as hard working, energetic, kind and generous.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Enrique and Eugenia Quiroz; his parents that raised him: Stanley and Suzanna Reyes; two brothers: Manuel Quiroz Sr. and Ben Quiroz Sr.; and three sisters: Sandy Ortega, Eulalia Garcia, and Lili Harback.

He was survived by his wife Karen Gutierrez of 47 years; four sons: Ronnie Gutierrez, Gary Gutierrez, Michael Guiterrez, and Jeffrey Gutierrez and wife Amanda; two daughters: Cindy and husband Albert Munoz and Suzanna and husband Adam Paulson; four brothers: Julian Quiroz, Salvador Quiroz, Luis Quiroz and Robert Holguin; four sisters: Janie Doporto, Elva Valenzuela, Emma Espinoza, and Yolanda Fabela; fourteen grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Kirby-Ratliff Funeral Home.
