Funeral services for Graciela Arenivas, 78, of Lovington will be held on Monday, June 10, 2024, at 11:00 am at the Kirby-Ratliff Chapel with Pilar Melendez officiating. A burial will follow at Lovington Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Kirby-Ratliff Funeral Home. Graciela was born on November 22, 1945, in El Mulato, Mexico to Anastacio and Elisea Aranda and passed away on June 7, 2024. Graciela married Jesus Arenivas on November 19, 1966, in Lovington. Graciela enjoyed doing arts and crafts, gardening and sewing. She found immense pleasure in connecting with others, offering them comfort, guidance, and sharing the hope that comes from a strong faith in Jehovah God. Her warm smile, compassionate heart, and unwavering determination were a testament to her commitment to serving others. Her love for her family and others will continue to inspire us all.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers: Leopoldo Aranda and Abel Aranda.

She is survived by her husband: Jesus Arenivas of 57 years; one son: Adrian Arenivas and wife Gabby; two daughters: Lorena Valencia and husband Noe, and Analisa Doporto and husband Jeremy; two brothers: Ariel Aranda and wife Adela, and Anastacio Aranda Jr. and wife Maria; one sister: Maria Elena Aranda; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
