Funeral services for Nicolas Jimenez, 73, of Lovington, New Mexico will be held on Tuesday, July9, 2024 at 10:00 am at St. Thomas Catholic Church with Father Samuel Ameh officiating. Burial will follow at Lovington Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Kirby-Ratliff Funeral Home. Nicolas was born on January 7, 1951 in Ojo de Agua, Michoacan, Mexico to Rafael and Fausta (Ruiz) Jimenez and passed away on July 4, 2024. Nicolas married Maria Elena Madrigal on January 12, 1970 in Colima, Mexico. They were married 54 years. He was employed for Gandy Corporation for over 40 years. Nicolas was a Dallas Cowboy Fan. He liked going on vacations with his family and making short videos with his grandkids. Nicolas favorite drink was Ocean Water and loved his Banana Splits.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Rafael and Fausta Jimenez.

He is survived by his wife: Maria Elena Jimenez; one daughter: Fausta Zimmerman; two sons: Nicolas Jimenez Jr. and wife Kimberly, Fernando Jimenez and wife Elizabeth; four brothers: Pablo Jimenez, Rafael Jimenez, Javier Jimenez, and Juan Jimenez; four sisters: Mercedes Rosalez, Rosa Campos, Faust Jimenez, and Mary Canaday; thirteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Monday from 2:00 pm until after Rosary. Rosary will be held at 7:00 pm at Kirby-Ratliff Chapel.
