Obituary of Dennis Lee Guillory

Memorial services for Dennis Lee Guillory, 66, of Lovington, New Mexico will be held on Monday, July 29, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Third & Central Church of Christ Fellowship Hall with David Stewart officiating. Dennis was born on January 8, 1958 in Hobbs, New Mexico to Lee and Mary (Tankersley) Guillory and passed away on July 22, 2024 in Lubbock, Texas. Dennis graduated from Lovington High School with the class of 1976. He married Wanda Lorene Jenkins on November 23, 1983 in Lovington, New Mexico. Dennis worked in the Oilfield. He was a member of the Moose Lodge and he enjoyed being a Hunter Education teacher. Dennis was an avid gun lover, he built guns, and talked about guns a lot which was a special activity for him. He had a faithful dog that was loved much, named Buddy. He was preceded in death by his parents: Lee and Mary Guillory; and one brother: Cecil Guillory. Surviving him is his wife: Wanda Guillory of 40 years; two sons: Matthew Whitaker, and Steven Whitaker and wife Debra; seven grandchildren; and a special friend: John Henderson Sr. Condolences may be sent to www.kirbysmithrogers.com.
