Funeral Services for Maria Venancia Juarez, 88, of Lovington, New Mexico will be held on Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at 10:00 am at St. Thomas Catholic Church with Father Samuel Ameh officiating. Burial will follow at Lovington Cemetery. Arrangements are under the directions of Kirby-Ratliff Funeral Home. Maria was born on May 18, 1936 in Ejido,de San Lorenzo, Chihuahua, Mexico to Martin Ramos and Juana Mauricio and passed away on September 13, 2024 in Odessa, Texas. Maria enjoyed drinking her coffee every day. She loved watching her novelas. Maria would love to cook for her family and enjoyed spending time with her family. Maria like to dance, shop and play Loteria.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Martin Ramos and Juana Mauricio; two brothers: Manuel Ramos and Jose Ramos; four sisters: Carmen Ramos, Ramona Ramos, Francisca Ramos, and Consuelo Ramos; and one grandson: Pedro Rodriguez.

She is survived by four sons: Lorenzo Rodriguez and wife Romelia, Saul Juarez, Samuel Juarez and wife Kandice, and David Juarez and wife Anna; four daughters: Elva Rodriguez, Alma Aragon and husband Eduardo, Bertha Olivia and husband Humberto, and Ruth Lopez and husband Leobardo; two sisters: Bertha Vega and Viquen Utajara; twenty-six grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren, and numerous great-great-grandchildren.

Viewing will be held on Tuesday, September 17, 2024 from 1:00 pm until after Rosary. Rosary will be held at 7:00pm at Kirby-Ratliff Funeral Home.
