Please share a memory of Jackie to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Graveside services for Jackie Lynn Richardson, 69, of McDonald, New Mexico will be held on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at 11:00 at Lovington Cemetery. Jackie was born on June 24, 1955 in Hobbs, New Mexico to Dean and Billie Jean (Andrus) Goff and passed away on October 3, 2024. Jackie married Fred Alvin Richardson on September 6, 1974 in Lovington, New Mexico. Jackie was a life-long resident of Lea County. She grew up in the Prairieview area where she met Fred at a very young age. She attended Lovington schools, where she was an FFA sweetheart and a powder-puff champion. After attending Sul-Ross University for a brief amount of time, Fred and Jackie returned to begin their life together at McDonald, where they would raise their 2 daughters. They recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. In her youngers years Jackie was a bank teller, definitely putting her math skills to use. Jackie worked alongside Fred, farming, ranching, raising calves and champion goats, and selling feed at Fred's Feed Barn. Needless to say, she worked hard. Jackie was an amazing cook, had an artistic-creative side, and a green thumb. Jackie enjoyed her Dr. Peppers, chocolate, and watching the Kansas City Chiefs play football. She was all about a bargain, believed in telling the truth, and taught her kids and grandkids many life-long lessons. One of Jackie's most precious joys in life was when she gained the title "Toots". Her grandkids gave her purpose. Jackie was known as a daddy's girl. She was preceded in death by her parents: Dean and Billie Goff; her mother-in-law: LaNora Richardson, her son-in-law: Creston Arnspiger; and one grandson: Blair Arnspiger. She is survived by her husband Fred Richardson; two daughters: Sharree and husband Chris White, and Trisha and husband Greg Fritts; four grandchildren: Julie White, Jenna White, Brantly Fritts, and Brynna Fritts; one brother: Perry Dean Goff and wife Gail; one sister: San and husband Bill Flowers; and a special cousin: J.P Conley. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 from 10:00 am until 10:45 am at Kirby-Ratliff Funeral Home. Condolences may be sent to www.kirbysmithrogers.com.
