Funeral services for Maria Antonia Morales de Perez, 84 of Lovington will be held on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at 10:00 am at St. Thomas Catholic Church with Deacon Robert Garcia officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Kirby-Ratliff Funeral Home. Maria was born on May 12, 1940 in El Florido, Chihuahua, Mexico to Juan and Elena (Ramirez) Morales and passed away on November 17, 2024 in Lubbock, Texas.

Maria liked going to the casino, watching her novellas, music and gardening. She loved her cats and dogs. Maria enjoyed being around her children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her Parents; two brothers: Ramon Morales and Manuel Morales and one son-in-law: Ray Hernandez.

She is survived by five sons: Robert Perez and wife Patsy, Jose Luis Perez and wife Mari, Manuel Perez and wife Carolina, Ismael Perez and wife Missy, and Carlos Perez; four daughters: Maria Hernandez; Norma and husband Laco Mendoza, Rosalina and husband Andy Moreno, and Angelica and husband Johnny Hinson; three sisters: Chuy Ortega, Anita Viscarra and Lazara Armendariz; thirty-one grandchildren and thirty-eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 from 2:00 pm until after Rosary. Rosary will be held at 7:00 pm at Kirby-Ratliff Funeral Home.
