Funeral services for Regina Perez Vega, 88, of Lovington, New Mexico will be held on Friday, December 6, 2024 at 10:00 am at St. Thomas Catholic Church with Father Samuel Ameh officiating. Burial will follow at Lovington Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Kirby-Ratliff Funeral Home. Regina was born on November 25, 1936 in Olmito, Texas to Jose and Josepha Perez and passed away on November 27, 2024 surrounded by her family. Regina liked going to the casino. She liked music, cooking, crocheting, knitting and sewing. Regina enjoyed telling stories. She liked visiting with friends. She was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church where she participated as a Guadalupana.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Apolonia Vega Sr.; one son: Ruben Vega; one daughter: Trini Alvarado; and one granddaughter: Regina Vega.

She is survived by two sons: Librado Vega, Apolonio Vega Jr. and wife Olga; one daughter: Rachel and husband Donnie Trevino; one brother: Inocencio Perez; fifteen grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2024 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Rosay will be held at 7:00 pm at Kirby-Ratliff Funeral Home.
