Funeral services for Joseph Ray Wilson, 57, of Lovington, New Mexico will be held on Friday, January 17, 2025 at 12:00 noon at New Covenant Church 1215 W. Jefferson Ave. with Pastor Shane Brixner officiating. Burial will follow at Lovington Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Kirby-Ratliff Funeral Home. Joseph was born on November 7, 1967 in Torrance, California to Thomas Ray Wilson and Teresa Lou (McKenzie) Wilson and passed away on January 10, 2025. Joseph was soft spoken with a kind heart. He was like an energy bunny who just keep going. Joseph would take care of people even when he couldn't take care of his self. He was liked by everybody who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his father: Thomas Ray Wilson; and his wife: Margie Wilson.

He is survived by his mother: Teresa Lou Brown; one son: Jeremy Wilson; one daughter: Krystle Garrison; two brothers: Larry Boughner and wife Teresa, Philip Ingram; two sisters: April Brown and Rebecca Collins; three grandchildren: Destiny Lyons, Gabriel Henderson, and Zane Wilson; and one great-grandchild: Lucas Lyons.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 17, 2025 at New Covenant Church from 11:00 am until 12:00 noon.
