Obituary of Virginia Reyna Franco

Virginia Reyna Franco May 12, 1946 - September 10, 2015 Funeral services for Virginia R. Franco, 69, of Lovington, NM will be held on Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Pannell auditorium with Elder Bob Rodgers officiating. Burial will follow at Lovington Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Kirby-Smith-Rogers Funeral Home. Mrs. Franco was born in Santo Domingo, San Luis Potosi, Mexico on May 12, 1946 to Jose and Felipa (Reyna) Palomo and passed away September 10, 2015 in Lovington. She married Juan Daniel Franco in Lovington on November 26, 1967 and they have shared 48 years together. Virginia was a people person and loved preaching and sharing. She was a pioneer for Jehovah Witness for many years and very active in her congregation. She enjoyed shopping, working outside in her yard with the flowers and sewing. She especially enjoyed cooking and baking and was a very good cook. She was preceded in death by her parents. Surviving her is her husband Juan of the home; two sons: Fabian Sr and wife Sonia Franco of Carlsbad, NM; Joshua and wife Carolyn Franco of Lovington; one daughter: Rebekah Palomin of Lovington; eight grandchildren: Vanessa, Fabian Jr, Irving, Alicia, Makayla, Kaleb, Alex and Alexus and one great-grandchild, Jayden. Also one brother: Joe and wife Mary Palomo of Lovington and six sisters: Antonia Galindo of Lovington; Anita Lopez of Hobbs; Ernestina Rubio of Lovington; Esperanza Madrid and husband Jesse Fierro of Hobbs; Marina and husband Miguel Echeverria of Hobbs and Janie Palomo of Albuquerque, NM and a host of friends.
