Thomas Wayne Funk September 21, 1961 - June 30, 2012 Thomas Wayne Funk, 50, of Hobbs, NM passed away on June 30, 2012 in Lubbock, Texas. He was born September 24, 1961 in Artesia, NM to John Wayne and Janet Ann (Wagner) Funk. Mr. Funk worked in the Oilfield. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters: Sherri and Melissa Lynett Funk. He is survived by one daughter; Melissa L. Funk and three sisters: Jeanetta Kaye Somers of Hobbs, NM and Allison Ussery and Billie Jo Funk both of Tennessee. Mr. Funk will be cremated and the arrangements are under the direction of Kirby-Smith-Rogers Funeral Home.
