Graveside services for Myra Brooks, 68, will be Saturday, December 15, 2007 at 2:00 pm with Roger Dahlman officiating at Lovington Cemetery.
Mrs. Brooks passed away December 7, 2007 in Whitney, Texas. She was born July 27, 1939 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She married Walter Brooks on March 1, 1957 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
She is survived by three daughters; Cheryl and husband James Dulin of Hobbs, NM, Cynthia and husband Michael Kennedy of Big Spring, TX and Crystal and husband Roger Dahlman of Blum, TX; one sister, Patricia Eschete of Monroe, LA; one brother Leon Elliott of Oregon; eleven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Brooks; parents, Herbert and Thelma Elliott; one brother, Jerold Elliott; one sister, Donna Cornelious; and an infant brother.
