Obituary of Doyle Macon Gandy

Doyle Macon Gandy October 31, 1938 - February 09, 2013 Graveside Memorial services for Doyle Macon Gandy, 74, of San Antonio, Texas will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Tatum Cemetery with Charles Ivie officiating. Mr. Gandy was born on October 31, 1938 in Bluitt, New Mexico to Elmer and Ethel (Green) Gandy and passed away peacefully on February 9, 2013 at his home. He was a Korean War Veteran, an honorary Sheriff’s Deputy and had retired from 45th District Court after 34 years of awarded service. He enjoyed horseback riding, woodworking, restoring classic cars and playing his big base Guitar. Doyle was a generous and caring man with a lifetime of accomplishments and achievements and will be greatly missed. Doyle was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Gregory Gandy and two brothers: Gerald and R. B. Gandy. He is survived by nephews, Russell and Rodney Gandy, Michael and wife Lori Govern, niece, Melody and husband Steve Bunce and many beloved aunts, uncles and cousins. God rest his soul…..
