Angelica was born on October 24, 1948 in Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico to Francisco Leyva and Maria Garcia and passed away at her residence on Thursday, February 28, 2013. She enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandkids. She liked to cook, travel and her hobby was knitting. She was preceded in death by her father; one daughter: Gabriela Rodriguez; one sister: Margarita Boya and one brother, Arturo Leyva. She is survived by her mother Maria Garcia; three sons: Auden Rodriguez of Lovington, NM, Gonzalo and wife Martina Rodriguez of Whitharral, TX, and Eliap and wife LLubia Rodriguez of Lovington,NM; three daughters: Norma and husband John Ochoa of Lubbock,TX, Andrea Rodriguez of Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico, and Selena and husband Jose Portillo of Alaska; three sisters: Manuela Carrasco of Eunice, NM, Maria Rosa Terraza of Odessa, TX, and Alma and husband Raul Tarin of Pecos, TX; three brothers: Alfonso and wife Guadalupe Leyva of Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico, Cleofas and wife Dora Leyva of Odessa, TX, and Guillermo Leyva of Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico and fourteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
