Obituary of Rosa F. Garcia

Garcia, 89, of Lovington, will be held on Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at 10:00 am at Third and Central Church of Christ with Joe Valenzuela officiating. Burial will follow at Lovington Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Kirby-Smith-Rogers Funeral Home. Mrs. Garcia was born in Carlsbad, NM on May 14, 1924 to Gabriel and Eladia (Carrasco) Flores and passed away in Roswell, NM on December 8, 2013. Mrs. Garcia enjoyed gardening, cooking and loved being with her friends and family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Telesforo Garcia Sr. and one son, Julio Garcia. She is survived by two sons: Mike Garcia of Lovington, NM and Telesforo Garcia Jr. of Lovington, NM and two daughters: Mary and husband Raul Garcia and Elsie and husband Noe Sandoval of Lovington; one sister: Sabina Campos of Carlsbad, NM; ten grandchildren,twenty two great-grandchildren and numerous great-great-grandchildren.
