Steve was a great guy and an amazing person. He helped everyone and anyone that needed it. Heaven gained an amazing angel. He will be truly missed here but we will all see him again one day.
My heart breaks for his wife and kids, his family was everything to him and you could tell by the way he talked about them.

My thoughts and prayers for Steve's family continue over and over. I met Steve when he brought prisoners over to our courtroom (Judge Gallini's). I thought he was the sweetest, most respectful young man I had ever met! He was always like that every time I saw him. When he ran for the Sheriff position, I knew he was the one who needed to be the Sheriff of Lea County! I can see everyone had the same opinion of Steve. He will be dearly missed by everyone he knew. His wife, children and family are in my prayers! May God give them comfort.
