Obituary of Paul Brow

Paul Brow July 01, 1960 - February 27, 2012 Memorial services for Paul Kelly Brow, 51, of Lovington, NM will be held on Thursday, March 1, 2012 at 2:00 pm at New Beginnings Church with David Villar officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven cemetery. Paul was born on July 1, 1960 in Hobbs, NM to Cletus and Leota (Buchanan) Brow and passed away at his home on February 27, 2012. Paul was a graduate of Hobbs High School. He married Leslie Barber in Hobbs on August 3, 1989. He moved to Lovington in November of 2000. He was employed by Navajo Refining Company as an operator and was a fireman for the Tatum Volunteer Fire Department and the Lovington Fire Department and was on the Navajo Refinery Fire team. Paul was an active member of New Beginnings Church where he enjoyed making music and playing the drums. He loved to build airplanes and had earned his pilot’s license at a very young age. At the age of 13 he was the youngest person to have their licenses to fly sail planes. He enjoyed rebuilding old cars and at one time was a member of the Zia Street Rods. He also liked hunting, loved fire fighting and enjoyed scuba diving. Paul was a multi-talented young man and will be greatly missed by all. He was preceded in death by his father, Cletus Brow; his brother, Eddie Brow and his grandparents, Arthur and Elizabeth Brow and Bee and Tempie Buchanan. He is survived by his wife, Leslie of the home; his mother, Leota Brow of Lovington; one son: Charles Brow of Lubbock, TX and two daughters: Tabitha Reneé Brow of Atlanta, GA and Keli Brow of Colorado City, TX; one sister: Beth and husband Charles Nowlin of Atlanta, GA and five grandchildren: Haven Howell and Ariel Wright of Atlanta, GA., Destinie Nava and Khristian Vasquez of Colorado City, TX and Seirra Smith of Lovington, NM.
