Obituary of David Goodgame

David Goodgame December 12, 1983 - October 03, 2007 A memorial service for David Lee Goodgame of Hobbs, NM will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2007 at Cowboy Junction Church with Ken Davis, pastor of the 7th Day Adventist church officiating. Burial is scheduled for at a later time. Mr. Goodgame, 23, died Oct. 3, 2007 in Tucumcari, NM. He was born Dec. 12, 1983 in Lockney Texas. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Louise Goodgame. Survivors include his mother, Vanda Melendez of Hobbs, NM; his father, Gary Goodgame of Austin, TX; four sisters, Kerri Goodgame of Hobbs, NM, Brittany Warren & husband Chad of Hobbs, NM, Victoria & Kayla Goodgame, both of Albuquerque, NM; two brothers, Christopher Goodgame of Phoenix, Ariz., and Brandon Goodgame of El Paso, Texas; three nephews, Tanner & Caden Goodgame & Cooper Warren; his grandparents, Charles & Louise Summers of Plainview, Texas, Murial Goodgame of Hobbs, & R.D. Wright of Spur, TX; and a Great-grandmother, Ethyl Lee Wright of Spur, TX. David attended Hobbs schools and graduated in 2003. He was currently working for D & D Pipeline Construction as a welder’s helper. His hobby was bareback riding. He was a loving uncle to his nephews, was outgoing and dependable and a good friend.
