Obituary of Esperanza Granado

Esperanza Granado February 04, 1931 - November 02, 2016 Funeral services for Esperanza Granado, 85, of Broken Arrow, OK and formerly of Lovington, NM will be held on Monday, November 6, 2016 at 10:00 am at St. Thomas Catholic Church with Father Rendentor Molina officiating. Burial will follow at Lovington Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Kirby-Smith-Rogers Funeral Home. Ms. Granado was born in Valentine, Texas on February 4, 1931 to Natividad and Guillerma Berjarano and passed away on November 2, 2016 at Broken Arrow Nursing Home. She married Bernardo Granado in Precidio, Texas. She loved playing games especially “Bingo” and “Sorry”. Ms. Granado had been living in Oklahoma for the past few years closer to family and had been a resident of Broken Arrow Nursing Home. Preceding her in death were her parents and her husband; one son: Mauro Granado; one daughter: Beatrice Miranda; and two sisters: Maria Mata and Rita Bejarano. Surviving her are two sons: Billy and wife Ramona Granado of Tulare, California and Benardo Granado Jr. of McAllen, TX; two daughters: Linda and husband Joe Chavez of Broken Arrow, OK and Susie and husband Oscar Garza of San Antonio, TX; one brother: Vicente and wife Enedelia Berjarano of Midland, TX; two sisters: Maria Jesus Carrasco of Midland, TX and Lucia Duke of El Paso, TX. Also many grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 6, 2016 from noon until Rosary time with rosary at 5:00 pm at the Chapel.
