Watch the Tribute Julio Gutierrez May 28, 1979 - June 27, 2011 Memorial services for Julio Gutierrez, 32, of Lovington, will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2011 at 2:00 pm at Crosswinds Church in Lovington with Godfrey Barela officiating. Kirby-Smith-Rogers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Gutierrez was born on May 28, 1979 in Ojinaga, Mexico to Inez and Graciela (Rey) Gutierrez and passed away on June 27, 2011 in Lubbock, TX. He married Ilda Arenivas on July 1, 2004 in Lovington. He had been employed by Watson Unit Service and enjoyed his work. He enjoyed rooster fights, the Casino and loved to bar-b-que. He liked getting together with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother. He is survived by his wife, Ilda of the home, one son Usniel A. Gutierrez of Mexico; two step-sons: Mikael and wife Maira Navarrette of Lovington and Eric Gonzales of Lovington; two step-daughters: Ashley and husband Daniel Maldonado of Hobbs and Stephanie Gonzales of Lovington; two brothers: Alonso Gutierrez of Mexico and Inez Gutierrez of Albuquerque, NM; two sisters: Luz Elena Gutierrez and Ana Maria Gutierrez both of Mexico; four grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
