Rosa Carmen Gutierrez May 17, 1950 - October 21, 2011 Funeral Services for Rosa Carmen Gutierrez, 61, will be on Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at 2:00pm at Church of Christ in Lovington, NM with burial following at Lovington cemetery. Rosa was born on May 17, 1950 in Ojinaga, Mexico to Isidro and Maria Vizcaino Cabello. She married David Gutierrez on November 2, 1981 in Lovington, NM. She passed away on October 21, 2011 at Lubbock Heart Hospital in Lubbock, TX. She is preceded in death by her father, and one daughter, Veronica Machuca and her grandmother, Juanita Rivera Machuca. Rosa was a loving, caring mother and grandmother who was always involved in her children and grandchildren’s life. She enjoyed singing, dancing, and had a great sense of humor. Her interest were gardening and watching soccer and baseball. Her biggest accomplishment was raising her children and being a part of their lives. She is survived by her mother, Maria of Lovington, NM, her husband David of Lovington, NM, four sons; Luis and wife Veronica Machuca of Lovington, NM, Arturo and wife Lucia Machuca of Hobbs, NM, David and wife Maribel Gutierrez of Lovington, NM, Eric and wife Shyra Gutierrez of Lovington, NM, 3 daughters; Araceli and husband Florencio Martinez of Hobbs, NM, Adriana and Bernadette Machuca of Lovington, NM, and Sandra and husband Carlos Dominguez of Hobbs, NM, six brothers; Oscar and Alma Cabello of Presidio, TX, Alfonso Cabello of Odessa, TX, Anselmo Cabello of Lovington, NM, Jesus Alfredo Cabello of Odessa, TX, Jose Ruben and wife Dora Cabello of Midland, TX, and Javier and wife Maria Cabello of Odessa, TX, two sisters; Fransisca and husband Rene Hernandez of Lovington, NM, and Maria Cabello of Lovington, NM. She is also survived by her 19 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Sunday, October 23, 2011 from 1-5, Monday, October 24, 2011 from 8-8, and Tuesday, October 25, 2011 from 8 until service time at Kirby-Smith-Rogers Chapel.
