Obituary of Linda Hanson

Linda Hanson May 27, 1945 - June 23, 2009 Funeral services for Linda Hanson, 64, of Lovington, will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2009 at 10:00 am at Kirby-Smith- Rogers Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ron Ragland officiating. Burial will follow at Lovington Cemetery. Services are entrusted to Kirby-Smith- Rogers Funeral Home. Mrs. Hanson was born in Helena, Arkansas on May 27, 1945 to Hugh Lee & Elizabeth Boyt, who preceded her in death. She passed away in Lubbock, Texas at UMC on June 23, 2009. She was of the Baptist faith, was a wonderful mother and wife and loved her family and grandchildren and she enjoyed visiting with her friends. She is survived by her husband, Charles of the home, 1 son, Gary Hanson & wife Minnie; 2 daughters, Sharon Irene Purcella of Richland Springs, TX. And Mary Elizabeth Tharp & husband Christopher of Hobbs, NM. 1 brother, Hugh & wife Sheila Boyt of Sugarland, Texas and 1 sister, Betty & husband, Harold Ray of Lindenhurst, Illinois. Four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Visitation will be Friday, June 26, 2009 from 10 am to 8 pm
