Arevalo, 52, of Lovington will be held on Friday, December 21, 2012 at 2:00 pm at New Beginnings Church with Bro. David Villar officiating. Burial will follow at Lovington Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Kirby-Smith-Rogers Funeral Home. Mr. Arevalo was born on July 5, 1960 in Ojinaga, Mexico to Ismeal and Amada (Arenivas) Arevalo and passed away on December 14, 2012 in Lubbock, Texas. He enjoyed fishing and music and loved to joke with people and make them laugh. He loved his grandkids and his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He was preceded in death by his father and one brother, Amado Arevalo. He is survived by his wife, Yolanda of the home; his Mother, Amada Aravelo of Lovington; three sons: Jorge and wife Amanda Nava, of Lovington, Juan Manuel Nava of Santa Fe, NM and Esequiel Arevalo of Lovington. Also two sisters: Fe Esperanza and husband Raul Badillo of Lovington and Maria de Jesus and husband David Landa of Idaho; and four grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday, December 20th from 8:30 am until 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Condolences may be sent to www.kirbysmithrogers.com
