Obituary of Ruby Lee Hardin

Watch the Tribute Ruby Lee Hardin April 04, 1928 - August 16, 2010 Funeral services for Ruby Lee Hardin, 82, of Lovington will be held on Thursday, August 19, 2010 at 10:00 am at Kirby-Smith-Rogers Chapel with David Stewart officiating. Burial will follow at Lovington Cemetery. Services are being conducted by Kirby-Smith-Rogers Funeral Home. Ruby was born on April 4, 1928 in Kosse, Texas to Nathan and Mable Lee (Flores) Thompson and passed away on Monday, August 16, 2010 at Lovington Good Samaritan Center. She married Riley Hardin in Carlsbad, NM in 1989. She was a great mom with a lot of patience and she loved her kids and grandkids. She enjoyed walking, sewing and quilting and was a very good cook. She has been a resident at the Good Samaritan Center for the last 17 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sons: Larry and Chris Hardin; one grandson: James Fults and one sister, Carrie Hernandez. She is survived by two sons: Billy and wife Brenda Hardin of Lovington, NM and Riley Jr. and wife Sharon Hardin of Cripple Creek, CO; one daughter, Dorothy Furphy and husband Michael of Las Vegas, NV; five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
