Presha Dawn Herdt September 20, 1964 - November 28, 2012 Graveside funeral services for Presha Dawn Herdt, 48, of Hobbs, NM, formerly of Carlsbad, NM will be held on Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at 1:00 pm at Carlsbad Cemetery, 1500 S. Boyd Drive, Carlsbad, NM with David Prell officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Kirby-Smith-Rogers Funeral Home. Presha was born on September 20, 1964 in Carlsbad, NM to Don and Diane (Bradley) Sims and passed away in Hobbs, NM on November 28, 2012 at Country Cottage Nursing Home after a long illness. She attended school in Carlsbad. She enjoyed being with her friends and when well, she enjoyed cooking. She was preceded in death by her Mother, one son: Robert Blake Sims and one sister: Charma Williams. She is survived by her father, Donald Gene and wife Nell Sims of Lovington, NM; three brothers: Chade Williams of Carlsbad; Brad Fowler of St. Augustine, TX and Shane Fowler of Ohio. Her best friend and companion of many years, David Vier of Carlsbad, NM; Aunt: Francene Hoffman of Carlsbad and step-brothers and sisters: Roy and wife Cecelia Yeager and Judy Yeager and companion, Wes Taylor of Hobbs, Tammy Yeager of Lovington, and Tony and wife Shelly Yeager of Loving, NM.
