Dear Family
You are all in our thoughts and prayers today! We pray for comfort and peace for you in knowing we will be seeing Joyce later! You know how much your Mom meant to me as she always seemed like a sister, not sister in law. We shared so many fun times and special memories through the years, like one time when she and I took you kids to California and when we were traveling through Arizona, Lance was playing around in the back seat and accidently kicked me in the head and I was driving. I went over the line on the highway and though no cars were coming toward me in that lane, somehow out of no where comes this highway patrol and gave me a stern warning for crossing over the line. We told him what happened so he didn't give me a ticket but told us to get those kids under control! Ha! Joyce and I also, went to Truth or Consequences TV show(now know as The Price is Right) while in California. You guys also, lived with us for about two months when your Mom was sick and had to have six weeks of complete bed rest. That was a real test, especially when I would put Lance in the high chair to feed him and he would spit his baby food back all over me. Ha! Ha! Funny now but not then! Joyce and I took more than that trip together. One year we went up to Ruidosa with your Mamaw Hodge, you Aunt Opal and Florita,(Oscar Fisher's wife then) all five of us in your Mamaw's camper. That was quite a trip, especially, when all five women were trying to get ready to go out in such a small area. This doesn't even scratch the surface of all the fun and wonderful times we had together and I know every time we talked on the phone which was very often, we always laughed about something that had happened in the past. I will treasure all my special memories forever and take comfort in knowing I will be seeing her later and also, that she is there with your Dad and my Gary! Hoping to see all of you when I come out for our granddaughter's wedding in May of 2018. Until next time! I love you all and keep you in my prayers.
Love and prayers,
Bobbie and Wayne
