Obituary of Trula Harrison Huddleston

Trula Harrison Huddleston August 22, 1922 - January 12, 2010 Graveside services for Trula Harrison Huddleston, 89, will be held Friday, January 15, 2010 at 10:00 am at Lovington Cemetery with Rev. Vergil Ichtertz officiating. Mrs. Huddleston passed away this week in Waco, TX. She was born near Bonham, TX to Andrew J. and Onor (Owen) Ward on August 22, 1922. She was married to Reverend Bob Harrison who preceded her in death. He was pastor at FUMC several years ago. She served with her first husband at Methodist churches in Illinois, Oklahoma, West Texas and New Mexico before they retired. She was a consumate hostess and enjoyed cooking, sewing, china painting and crafts. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, one daughter, Linda Gail Hayes and one grandchild, Robert E. Hayes and one brother Ross Ward. She is survived by her present husband, David Huddleston of Waco, TX. one sister, Jeri Knox of Grand Prairie, TX; Two daughters: Trudi and husband Bob Peak of Eddy, TX and Bobbie and husband Ed Turk of Center, TX. and one son, David Harrison of Blacksburg, VA; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Wesley-Woods Alzheimer's Care Center, 1700 Woodgate DRive, Waco, TX 76712. Services are under the direction of Kirby-Smith- Rogers Funeral Home.
