Obituary of Daniel Sanford Knoll

Daniel Sanford "Sandy" Knoll September 03, 1982 - March 22, 2017 Graveside memorial services for Daniel Sanford Knoll, 34, lifelong resident of Lovington, NM will be held on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at 10:00 am at Lovington Cemetery with Sara Quickel, Hank Knoll and Luke Rogers officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Kirby-Smith-Rogers Funeral Home. He was born on September 3, 1982 in Hobbs, NM to Lynda Knoll Tungate and the late Daniel Kurt Knoll and passed away on March 22, 2017 in Lovington. He was a truck driver and was employed by various trucking companies. Daniel grew up here and graduated from LHS. He had a good sense of humor and like helping people. He loved spending time with his children. He will be greatly missed. Daniel was preceded in death by his father; uncle, grandfathers; one grandmother and cousin. Surviving him are his two children: Alanah Nikole Knoll and Daniel James Knoll of Lovington, NM; his Mother: Linda Tungate of Lubbock, TX; two sisters: Jennifer Lynn and husband Paxton of Lubbock, TX and Sara Elizabeth and husband Stephen Quickel of Lovington; his grandmother: Jewel Greenwood of Lovington; two nieces and nephews: Jewel Smith and Zachary Smith of Lubbock, TX; two aunts: Starla Akers and Carol Schenck both of Lovington; four cousins: Joseph Hank Knoll of Lubbock, TX; Jeremiah Bayless of Clovis, NM; Luke Rogers of Albuquerque, NM and Jake Rogers of Tyler, TX.
