Watch the Tribute Wanda Mae Baird November 16, 1918 - June 27, 2014 Funeral services for Wanda Mae Baird, 95, of Lovington, NM will be held on Monday, June 30, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Kirby-Smith-Rogers Chapel with Bro. Danny Kirkpatrick and Bro. Harry Pittam officiating. Burial will follow at Prairie Haven Cemetery in Hobbs, NM. Mrs. Baird was born in Blue Ridge, Texas on November 16, 1918 to Benjamin and Mary Ellen (Johnson) Conger and passed away at Lovington Good Samaritan Center on June 27, 2014. She was married to Theodore Campbell for twenty six years and then married Frank Baird on November 1, 1962. Wanda was one of fifteen children. She was employed in early years by Common Wealth Theatres and also worked as a grocery checker. She loved reading; talking on the phone and visiting with people. One of her greatest joys was reading her Bible and she was a great prayer warrior. She was a member of First Baptist Church. She loved her family very much. She was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands; fourteen siblings and two daughters: Mary Ann Guidish and Margie Brown. She is survived by one son: Jerry and wife Kris Campbell of Guymon, OK; one daughter: Frances Jenkins of Lovington, NM and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
