Watch the Tribute Buddie Eugene Little July 22, 1939 - September 29, 2012 Graveside funeral services for Buddie Eugene Little, 73, of Tatum, NM will be held on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at Tatum Cemetery at 10:00 am with Reverend Brad Morgan, Pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in Portales, NM officiating. Arrangements are under the care of Kirby-Smith-Rogers Funeral Home. Mr. Little was born on July 22, 1939 in Brownfield, Texas to S. W. “Buddie” and Myrtle Lucille (Harper) Little and passed away on Saturday, September 29, 2012 in Lubbock, TX. He married Onetha Beggs on July 26, 1961 in Brownfield, TX. Buddie was a faithful Christian who loved the Lord and loved his family and was very loving and supportative of them. He boxed Golden Gloves, coached the girls Little Dribblers, enjoyed woodworking and loved to dance. He was employed in the oilfield and then later as Tatum School custodian. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son: Hillrey Eugene Little; one brother; Ollie Little and one daughter-in-law: Lori Little. He is survived by his wife Onetha of the home; two sons: Billy and wife Lisa Little of Lovington, NM, and Buddy and wife Christy Little of Tatum; one daughter: Tyna and husband Dean Coffer of Tatum and nine grandchildren two Great-grandchildren and a host of friends.
