Lupe A. Lopez November 17, 1947 - September 11, 2011 Memorial Services for Lupe A. Lopez, 63, of Lovington, NM will be on Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at 10:00AM at Kirby-Smith-Rogers Chapel. Lupe was born on November 17, 1947 in Chihuahua, Mexico to Encarnacion and Lorenza (Andrade) Lopez. He passed away peacefully on September 11, 2011 in Lovington, NM. Mr. Lopez married his wife, Belen, on October 13, 2003 in Plains, TX. Lupe enjoyed raising goats and doing yard and garden work. He also enjoyed watching boxing, football, and was an avid Denver Broncos fan. Lupe is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of the home, three sons; Raymundo and wife Rita Lopez of Mexico, Isaac and wife Natalie Carreon of Lovington, NM, and Tino and wife Victoria Carreon of Lovington, NM, three daughters; Ramona Medrano of Mexico, Juanita Barriga of Lovington, NM and Marleen and husband Frank Ontiveros of Lovington, NM. Also by four brothers; Manuel Lopez of Mexico, Encarnacion “Chon” and wife Mary Lopez of Lovington, NM, Jose and wife Anita Lopez of Kansas, and Socorro and wife Lupe Lopez of Kansas, Five sisters; Maria Avalos of Fresno, CA, Benny and husband Eugenio Porras of Mexico, Lorenza Lopez of Mexico, Mary Cruz Garcia of Mexico and Rita and husband Jesus Vejar of Mexico.
