Pauline Bakaer Love May 26, 1913 - November 13, 2015 Pauline Baker Love went to be with the Lord Jesus on November 13, 2015 after 102 years of faith, love and family. She was born in Elida, New Mexico on May 26, 1913 to Alonzo Baker and Willie (McDonald) Baker. Pauline was the youngest of their four children. She married Cecil H. Love on August 16, 1936 and resided in Lovington, NM for several years. She worked as a secretary at the Lovington schools many years before moving to Brownwood, Texas. While residing in Brownwood, she was a member and Sunday school teacher at Rocky Creek Baptist Church; a member of the Extension club; sold Tupperware and raised her grandson Shannon Love. She moved to Midland in 1999 and became a member of Alamo Baptist church. She was sustained through her life by her faith in God, her positive attitude and staying active. She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty five years, Cecil; her son, Lonnie Edward Love and her daughter, Margaret Lea Thompson. She is survived by two daughters: Frances Schruefer of Tacoma, WA., and Ruth Shields Robinson and husband Dean of Gardendale, TX; her Grandchildren: Todd Thompson and wife Cat of Early, TX, Diana Crettol and husband Chris of Federal Way, WA, Letha Garrett and Darren Moore of Brady, TX, Shannon Love and wife Miki of Austin, TX, Theresa Winther and husband Mitch of Woodenville, WA, Lex Lewis and Debbie Dunbar of Ft. Worth, TX, Lea Ann Ervin and husband Joe of Midland, TX. One nephew: Kenneth Baker and wife Louise of Canyon, TX; thirteen great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren. A memorial service to celebrate Pauline’s life will be held on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at 12 noon at the West Texas Cowboy Church, located at 12144 East Hwy 158, Gardendale, TX. Arrangements are under the direction of Kirby-Smith-Rogers Funeral Home of Lovington, NM
