Obituary of Normandie Colleen Lyle

Normandie Colleen Lyle October 09, 1928 - September 02, 2010 Normandie Colleen Lyle, 81, a 21 year resident of Lovington, left this world on her own terms, September 2, 2010. Her loving family is grateful she is no longer in pain and she will be deeply missed. She was born in Tucumcari, NM on October 9, 1928 and has made her home and many friends all over the world. No object or person was ever too broken for Colleen to take in and help. She opened her home to and befriended many people, some family and others, friends or perfect stranger. She was a proud Native American whose Spirit guide, the panther, has now led her to the Great Spirit. She is survived by her children, Donnes Kay of Oregon, Bill Lang, Logan Wheeler and Sherry Mann, all of Lovington. Also by eight grandchildren; Tonya, Samantha, Jammie Lynn, Woloja, Michell, Dana, Tara and Tyree. Colleen will be cremated according to her wishes.
