Obituary of Sherry Mann

Watch the Tribute Sherry Mann March 05, 1955 - December 27, 2012 Memorial services for Sherry Sue Mann, 57, of Lovington will be held on Thursday, January 17, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Kirby-Smith-Rogers Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Kirby-Smith-Rogers Funeral Home. Sherry was a mother, a grandmother, a sister and a best friend, whom we loved and are going to miss dearly. She was born on March 5, 1955 in Eureka, CA to Lloyd Taylor and Gayle Howell and passed away peacefully on December 27, 2012 at her home in Lovington, NM. She had battled Lou Gehrig’s disease for 13 years, living many years longer than the life expectancy of this disease. Sherry was a strong and determined lady. She grew up in Northern California and attended school there. She loved the water, camping, fishing and swimming and she especially enjoyed her grandkids. She always gave her all and woke up every morning with a smile on her face, regardless of her pain. None of our lives will be the same without her and we are changed forever having known her. She was preceded in death by her father and one grandson, Jayden Wolukai Willburn. She is survived by one daughter, Jammie Andrieux of Lovington; two sons: Woloja Jack and wife Kristen Willburn of Lovington and Christopher Michael Mann of Lovington; Her Mother: Gayle Howell of Cobb Mountain, CA; two brothers: Teddy Beerbower of Santa Rosa, CA and Gary and wife Sandy Beerbower and their three children of Sonoma, CA; one sister: Darla Nicholson and her two children and eight grandchildren: Stassia Jo and Airen Andrieux, Kiyawna, Dajen, Ivory and Kaiyess Willburn and Dane Momam; also surviving her is Dana Mann, family caregiver.
