Ambrosia Marquez October 07, 1943 - July 13, 2008 Funeral services for Ambrosia Marquez, 64, of Lovington, NM will be held on Wednesday, July 16, 2008 at 10:00 am at Kirby-Smith- Rogers Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Lovington Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Kirby-Smith-Rogers Funeral Home. Mrs. Marquez passed away on July 13, 2008 at her residence. She was born in Los Altares, Mexico to her parents, Gomicindo & Encarnacion Acosta on October 7, 1943. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting and was a great cook. She was a loving & giving Mother, Grandmother and friend. She is survived by her husband, Eloy Marquez Sr; two sons: Roy & wife Roberta Orosco of San Angelo, TX; Eloy Jr. & wife Donna Marquez of Midland, TX; two daughters: Esther & husband Enrique Hernandez of San Angelo, TX; Rosa & husband Juan Juarez of Ft. Worth, TX; five sisters: Clarita Gonzales of Ft. Stockton, TX, Reyes Acosta, Bravlia Arenivas, Emilia Espinosa, & Carmen Molinar of Lovington, NM; five brothers: Severiano Acosta of Lovington; Hilario Acosta of Lajitas, TX; Jesus Acosta of Albuquerque, Richard Acosta of Dallas, TX, & Jose Luis Acosta of El Paso, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gomicindo & Encarnacion Acosta; one daughter, Elvira Acosta; one son, Jose Orosco and one brother, Oscar Acosta. Visitation will be Monday from 9 am-8 pm, & Tuesday from 8:30 am-8 pm.
