Oscar Juan Acosta April 18, 1952 - September 01, 2007 Services for Oscar Juan Acosta, 55, of Lovington, NM are 2:00 pm Tuesday, September 4, 2007 at Kirby-Smith-Rogers Chapel with Deacon Sam Navarette officiating. Burial will take place at Lovington Cemetery. Mr. Acosta was born April 18, 1952 in Monahans, TX. He passed away September 1, 2007 in Lovington, NM. Mr. Acosta loved music, fishing, sweets, working in the shop, and reading. He was a big football fan, his favorite team was the Dallas Cowboys. He is survived by two sons; Oscar Acosta and wife Sophia of Houston, TX, Adrian Acosta of Odessa, TX, one daughter; Analisa Acosta of Odessa, TX, five brothers; Severiano Acosta and wife Elva, Hilario Acosta and wife Dominga, Richard Acosta and wife Irene, Jesus Acosta and wife Socorro, Joe Acosta and wife Araceli, six sisters; Clara Gonzales and husband Alfonso, Carmen Molinar and husband Manuel, Amborsia Marquez and husband Eloy, Reyes Arenivas, Emily Espinosa, Bravlia Arenivas and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Gomicindo and Encarnacion Acosta and two brothers.
