Dear Patsy and Charlie, Although I did not know Jerry, and he and Donna didn't know one another very well in high school, they did get acquainted at NM State. I am shocked and saddened to hear of Jerry's passing! I have great memories of him in Lovington and at NMSU. He had a wonderful laugh and could get a smile out of just about anyone. Jerry and my mom developed a great friendship at LCEC and she held him in high regard which is saying something for those who knew her! No doubt Jerry will be missed by many! We were saddened to hear of Jerry's death. We both worked for Jerry during his time at Suwannee Valley Electric in Live Oak FL. He was a good manager and friend. Our prayers go up for Clay Thomas and Jerry's parents.
Jerry was an extremely special friend of mine with whom I share very wonderful, fun-loving memories. I am saddened beyond words to learn of his passing and he will be sorely missed by me. He was one of few people who could always make me laugh. I loved him like a brother.
