Salome "Sally" McClain July 25, 1941 - March 08, 2017 Funeral services for Salome “Sally” McClain, 75, of Lovington, NM will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Kirby-Smith-Rogers Funeral Home with David Villar officiating. Burial will follow at Lovington Cemetery. Mrs. McClain, also known as “Sally” was born in Carlsbad, NM on July 25, 1941 to Miguel and Francisca (Flores) Fierro and passed away in Lubbock, TX on March 8, 2017. She married Francis Xavier McClain in 1961 in Aberdeen, MD and they had five children. She loved her favorite TV shows, including COPS and LIVE P.D. and her Soap Operas. She was a devoted Mother, Grandmother and Mother-in-law and was loved by many friends and family and her precious cat, Princess. She doted on her fifteen grandchildren and always tried to teach them right from wrong. Sally was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and her son, Frank McClain and daughter: Esther Rose Rogers. Surviving her are her three daughters: Margaret and husband Jay Hare of Lovington; Franie and husband Daniel Ruiz of Hobbs and Kathy and husband Mark Brewer of Artesia; Grandchildren: Bernadette and husband Robert Cantu, Heather and husband Dave Gonzalez of Alamogordo, Freddie and wife Betty Chila of Carlsbad; Kathryn Darling of Conway, AR, Danni Palmer of Lovington, Myles Hare of San Antonio, TX, Brianna Hare of Lovington, Harlee Hare, Jason Hare of Lovington and Kylee Hare of Lubbock, TX; Dirk Gomez and Elisa Jimenez, Kerraline and husband Colby Frerich of Vega, TX, Andi and Taisha Perea and Hagan Murph. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday, March 10th from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm.
