Francis "Frank" Xavier McClain Jr. January 01, 1967 - November 10, 2011 A memorial service for Francis “Frank” McClain Jr., 44, will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2011 at 11:00am at Kirby-Smith-Rogers Chapel. Frank was born on January 1, 1967 in Carlsbad, NM to Francis Xavier Sr. and Salome (Fierro) McClain, he passed away on November 10, 2011 in Lovington, NM. He is preceded in death by his father, maternal grandmother, Francisca Parraz and great nephew, Manuel Xavier Cantu. Frank enjoyed spending time with his family and especially loved to bake for them. He was always helpful and would never mind being the designated drivers for his family and friends. He is survived by his mother, sisters; Esther Rogers of Alamogordo, Margaret Palmer of Lovington, Frances and husband Daniel Ruiz of Hobbs and Kathy McClain of Artesia. His brother-in-law; Wally and wife Esther Nichols, his nieces Bernadette Chila, Karen Taylor Nichols , Heather Gonzalez, Kathryn Darling, Danni Palmer, Elisa Marie Jimenez, Kerraline, Andi and Taisha Perea, nephews; Freddie Chila, Dirk Gomez, J.J. Mathis and Hagen Murph. Great-nieces Breanna and Jade Cantu, Piper Gonzalez and Zen Chila. Great-nephews Adrian Aranda, David, Marcus and Ivan Chila, Fabian Jimenez and Mayson Chavez. His closest aunt; Lena and cousins, Sonya and Lori. He is also survived by his beloved friend Valerie Powell and family and his faithful dog, “Chico”.
