Obituary of Carl McCraw

Carl McCraw June 27, 1916 - June 21, 2007 Funeral services for Carl McCraw, 90, of Lovington will 10:00 am Saturday, June 23, 2007 at Jackson Avenue Baptist Church with Phil Hinson, Steve McCraw and Joe McCraw officiating. Interment will be at Lovington Cemetery. Born June 27, 1916 in Mt. Park, Oklahoma, he passed away June 21, 2007, in Lovington, New Mexico. He was a farmer in Prairieview in Lea County since 1954. Before that he farmed in Roswell, NM. He was a member of Jackson Avenue Baptist Church, Antioch Baptist Church until it closed. He was a deacon and taught Sunday school. Survivors include two sons; Steve McCraw of Lovington, NM, and Joe McCraw and wife Jeannie of Lovington, NM, one daughter; Pat Hinson and husband Phil of Denver City, TX, 14 Grandchildren; and 8 Great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Janice McCraw; his parents, Joe Lee and Minnie McCraw, and one son; Ronald Gene McCraw.
