Carla J. McCune was born on January 8, 1949 in Denver City, TX to Mozelle (Hice) Uanzant. She passed away in Lubbock, TX on August 1, 2011. Carla loved life and was considered a loving and caring individual by those that knew her. She loved children and her family. Carla is survived by her husband Kenneth McCune, one daughter, Carylon Benson, one brother, Tommy Hice, and one sister Glenda Hice. A memorial service will be held for Carla on Friday, August 5, 2011 at 10:00am at Kirby-Smith-Rogers Chapel. Condolences may be sent to www.kirbysmithrogers.com.
