Watch the Tribute Anselmo Carrasco March 30, 1951 - October 11, 2013 Memorial services for Anselmo “Sam” Carrasco, 62, of Lovington, NM, and formerly of San Antonio, TX , will be held on Friday, October 18, 2013 at House of Prayer Church at 500 W. Jackson at 10:00 am with Arthur Sanchez officiating. Burial will follow at 2:30 pm at Lake Arthur Cemetery, Lake Arthur, NM. Arrangements are under the direction of Kirby-Smith-Rogers Funeral Home. Sam was born on March 30, 1951 in Artesia, NM to Ramon and Esperanza (Bermea) Carrasco and passed away at his home on October 11, 2013. He was employed as a truck driver for many years before his retirement. He enjoyed the outdoors and camping and traveling. He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Mike Carrasco and Jesse Bermea. Sam is survived by his son: Sam and wife Yvonne Carrasco of Midland, TX and one daughter: Jessica Alvarez of Lovington. Five brothers:; Joe Bermea of Odessa, Barney Carrasco of Artesia, Nm; Ramon Carrasco of Artesia; Frank Carrasco of Arizona; and Anseimo Carrasco of San Antonio, TX. And also two sisters: Maria Carrasco of Artesia and Hope Morris of Carlsbad, NM and seven grandchildren. Condolences may be sent to www.kirbysmithrogers.com.
