Colleen Faye McDowell, 76, of Hobbs passed away on May 17, 2010 in Hobbs. She was born to Cleo George and Eunice Glendolyn “Ellsworth” Graves on September 3, 1932 in Glenwood, Iowa. Mrs. McDowell was a homemaker and enjoyed being with her family. She was preceded in death by parents. She is survived by her husband: Faye E. McDowell of the home; three sons: Dale E. and wife Gloria Stogdill, Edwin H. and wife Edna McDowell, and Steven D. and wife Juanita McDowell; one daughter: Barbara McKenzie; one sister: Noreta Ann Pruitt; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. At this time no services are planned, cremation has taken place. Arrangements were by Kirby-Smith-Rogers Funeral Home.
