Obituary of Noma Lue McGuire/Wyatt

Watch the Tribute Noma Lue McGuire/Wyatt June 14, 1932 - September 18, 2012 Funeral services for Noma Lue Wyatt, 80, will be held on Saturday, September 22, 2012 at Prairie Haven Memorial Park Chapel at 10:00 am with James Kirby officiating. Services are under the direction of Kirby-Smith-Rogers Funeral Home. Noma was born on June 14, 1932 in Grant, OK to Arvey and Sara (Sims) Wyatt and passed away on September 18, 2012 at Hobbs Health Care Center. She graduated from high school in Grant, OK. She came to Lovington in 1966 and was a member of the Lovington Genealogy Society. In 1976 she moved to Hobbs, where she enjoyed working in her rose garden and really enjoyed scrap booking for the last few years. Cooking was a talent of hers in earlier years. She had been a resident of Hobbs Health Care Center for the last three years. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers: Hugh, Bill and Joe Wyatt and one sister: Ann Wyatt Veum. She is survived by one daughter, Carolyn and husband Lupe Huerta of Hobbs; one sister: Nola Sue Wyatt Smith of Grant, OK; one grandson: Matlock Wyatt Oldham of Hobbs and two step-grandsons: Arthur and Fabian Huerta of Hobbs and one great-grandchild, Taelor Oldham of Hobbs and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in memory of Noma, to Alzheimer’s Association, New Mexico Chapter, 9500 Montgomery NE, suite 209, Albuquerque, NM 87111. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 21, 2012 from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
