Obituary of Gary Lee Nash

Watch the Tribute Gary Lee "Gee" Nash Jr. October 30, 1993 - October 28, 2014 Funeral services for Gary Lee Nash Jr, 20, of Lovington, NM will be held on Thursday, November 6, 2014 at 2:00 pm at First United Methodist Church with pastor Mack Wabbington officiating. Burial will follow at Lovington Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Kirby-Smith-Rogers Funeral Home. Gee was born in Hobbs, NM on October 30, 1993 to Gary Lee Sr and Noela Leigh (Hatcher) Nash and passed away in Hobbs on October 28, 2014. He was a graduate of Lovington High School graduating in 2012 where he was an avid sportsman. He loved sports especially football and basketball. He was chosen to play in the All-Star Football game he played for the South team and they won the game . He was a well-thought of young man by his teachers and his peers. Gee’s favorite thing to do was to aggravate his sister and mother. Gee could always be found photo bombing somebody’s picture. He was preceded in death by his Grandfather, Charlie Lewis Sr. Gee is survived by his parents: Gary and Noela Nash Sr; one son: Nikolaz Morales and special friend, Alex Morales; his sister: NaTasha Nash and fiancée Martin Sanchez of Lovington one nephew: Jaiden Sanchez and his special cousin, Chris Hatcher; his grandparents: Willis and Irene Hatcher of Lovington and Lena Thomas of Hobbs, NM; five aunts: Charlene Holmes of Lovington, Hollie Hamilton of Longview, TX; Felisha Henry of Austin, TX; LaQuesha Whitfield of Houston, TX and Stephanie Lewis of Norman, OK; five uncles: Willis “Bubba” Hatcher Jr. of Tatum; Raymond Nash of Hobbs, Charlie Lewis Jr. of Lubbock, TX; Rafael Whitfield of Lovington and Tyrone Nash of Lovington and a host of family members and friends. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2014 from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm and on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 from 8:30 am until 8:00 pm. with family attending from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
