Obituary of Alfredo Villa Castillo

Watch the Tribute Alfredo Jr. Villa Castillo December 13, 1980 - September 12, 2010 Funeral Mass for Alfredo Villa Castillo Jr., 29, of Lovington, will be held on Friday, September 17, 2010 at 10:00 am at St. Thomas Catholic Church with Deacon Carlos Sanchez officiating. Burial will follow at Lovington Cemetery. Rosary will be on Thursday, September 16th at 7:00 pm at Kirby-Smith-Rogers Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Castillo was born on December 13, 1980 in Cd. Juarez, Mexico to Alfredo and Manuela (Villa) Castillo and passed away on September 12, 2010 in Austin, TX. Alfredo grew up in Juarez before moving to Lovington as a teenager. He attended school in Lovington. He was employed at Caprock Pipe & Supplies at the time of his death. Alfredo married Sonya Perez in Lovington, NM on February 2, 2007. He loved spending time and watching movies with his wife and children. Alfredo enjoyed dancing, cook outs and spending time with his friends. Surviving him are his wife, Sonya, of the home, two sons: Brian Lopez and Christian Castillo and one daughter, Julissa Castillo, all of the home. His parents, Alfredo and Manuela Castillo of Cd. Juarez, Mexico, one sister: Ana Castillo and husband Arcadio Sanchez of Hobbs, NM; one brother: Osvaldo Castillo of Cd. Juarez, Mexico; one niece: Michelle Sanchez and one nephew: Issac Sanchez, both of Hobbs, NM and many other family members and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 15, 2010 from 12 pm – 5:00 pm and Thursday from 8:30 am until Rosary time. Services are being conducted by Kirby-Smith-Rogers Funeral Home.
