Obituary of Berniece Castleberry

Berniece Castleberry November 11, 1914 - April 24, 2007 Services for Berniece Castleberry, 92, will be held Friday, April 27, 2007, at 2:00 pm at Kirby-Smith-Rogers Funeral Home Chapel, Dale Rhodes will officiate. Burial will be at Lovington Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled from 8:00 am until 8:00 pm on Thursday, April 26, 2007, and from 8:00 am until service time on Friday, April 27. She was married to DE (Dick) Castleberry, who preceded her in death. She was a long time member of Lovington Church of Christ and was active for many years in Home Demonstration Clubs. An artist, she had a picture which was featured on the cover of the Lea County phone book. Born November 11, 1914, at Oluskee, Oklahoma, she passed away at Good Samaritan in Hobbs on April 24, 2007. She is survived by a sister, Nela Swinson of Lubbock, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents, E.T. and Pinkie Hall; two infant children; two brothers, Q.L. "Shorty" Hall and Pete Hall; three sisters, Lily Webb, Gertrude Richardson and Neta McNabb.
